Gatherings
Our next gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 5:30 pm. Details will be sent to you in January through our Constant Contact emails. Please feel free to bring other women to join us as we begin our 11th year of giving.
The three charities we will hear from at this gathering are: Arts Council of Central LA; Family Justice Center and Safe Sleep Coalition. Please send your proxy vote to judy@judymusic.com if you are unable to attend. Your vote is important.
100 Women Who Care, Central Louisiana meets quarterly on the 3rd Tues. of the month from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
We are now meeting in person. If you would like to host a gathering in the future, please let us know.
Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare, Inc. provides all administrative services for 100 Women Who Care, Central Louisiana. Once each year, they will receive the donation from the group.
Administrative services include:

Initial and ongoing outreach to retain members (members must sign a membership form each year)

Keeping the roster of the 100+ members up to date.

Providing email updates and notifications, as well as social media updates on Facebook and updating and maintaining the website.

Collecting the checks and sending out emails reminding members to send in their checks.

Finding the venues and negotiating the contract for each gathering.

Liason with the non-profits: Outreach to get non-profit organizations to sign up; keeping them updated on what is expected of them at the meetings, and following up with speakers, getting them their checks, etc.

Answering all inquiries from members and the community via phone and email.

Speaking engagements with local groups and media explaining and promoting 100 Women Who Care.

Printing the sign-in sheets and name badges and organizing them for each meeting.

Communicating with the Steering Committee with questions and agenda for the meetings.

Along with all of this... the funds they receive will go toward bringing innovative arts experiences into our local healthcare facilities creating warmer, more welcoming healthcare environments and helping people heal through arts participation.
